This is Buna, a mom that uses dashes and maneuvers to collect food and face the adversities of the forest, while trying to get home for her son. You'll be playing as her in Hoppin, an Adventure / Puzzle game where dashing at your surroundings is the only way to progress and solve the challenges of this journey.
This project is being developed as my Final Project II of the course of Digital Games at UNISINOS - Porto Alegre
Surrounded by nature, the world of Hoppin counts with different creatures and sceneries, each one marked with at least one key element to help you to get a step closer of home.
The core of the game consists on:
Dashing -> Hitting -> Re-Dashing
And you get faster every time you keep this cycle repeating. Besides that, at every level you'll need to collect all the apples on it to be able to go further.
CONTROLS:
W - A - S - D: Move
Left Mouse Button: Dash

Parabéns pelo game, percebe-se a sua robustez no conceito, no escopo e na progressão. Os efeitos sonoros casam muito bem com os grafismos. Como alguém que trabalha com áudio, senti falta de pelo menos uma segunda música. A música adaptativa que vem no dash combo é um grande feito, pois raramente ouvimos isso em games indie. A fase noturna com chuva também está bem interessante, lembrando até mesmo o intróito de "Zelda: A Link to the Past" de 1990. No meu game de 1º semestre na Unisinos, também fizemos uma sala escura no final, com um mob de olhinhos perseguindo o player.
Confiem no trabalho de vocês, pois sinto que está indo para o lado correto!
